Welcome to SBT, Santa Barbara’s new professional theatre company. The mission of SBT is:

  • To promote and strengthen the art of theatre in the service of our community through productions of the highest professional standards that test the limits of theatre's artistic potential.

  • To engage, entertain and provoke our audiences in our belief that theatre is an art form with a unique power to illuminate the human experience.
  • To provide an environment for the growth and education of theatre professionals and audiences by encouraging the development of an energetic and powerful artistic community.
